The first time, we wondered why the skewers were bicycle spokes. It turns out the metal conducts heat into the meat, so it cooks evenly and stays tender.
We ordered two portions and a curry. The place was packed that night, but the buzz only made the meal better. Ever since, no trip to Bantul is complete without stopping here.
